Long Walk Live

The event helps support both local charities, which in turn support local residents and help create a vibrant, community-centred arts scene.Long Walk Live is Windsor’s very own Festival of Music, created by the community, for the community. Following the fantastic response to our debut in summer 2026, we’re delighted to be bringing it back to Windsor on Friday 25 and Saturday 26 June 2027.

Set against the iconic backdrop of Windsor Castle, we’ll be keeping the same successful formula: great live music, a brilliant atmosphere, plenty of fun and the chance to celebrate summer together with the Windsor community.

Our Story

The first Long Walk Live was a weekend of music, dancing, laughter and shared experiences, bringing people from across Windsor and beyond together on the Long Walk. The feedback from the community showed just how much local people valued the event — and we can’t wait to do it all again in 2027.

We’re proud to be the same team that brought Windsor together for Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee and His Majesty The King’s Coronation, moments that brought our town together and showcased Windsor’s unique spirit. Long Walk Live continues that tradition, celebrating music, community and the joy of coming together.

Long Walk Live is an event that is produced by the Windsor Festival and supported by The Prince Philip Trust Fund. The event helps support both local charities, which in turn support local residents and help create a vibrant, community-centred arts scene.

The historic Long Walk is more than just a landmark — it’s part of our shared identity. Hosting this musical event here gives us a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community in a unique and special location.  We are incredibly grateful to His Majesty The King for giving his kind permission to host this event, and to The Crown Estate for helping to make it a reality.
