Event Information

When is the event? Long Walk Live takes place on Friday 26 June, gates open at 4.30, music begins at 5.30 and finishes at 10.30pm; and Saturday 27 June – gates open at 2pm, music begins at 3pm and finishes at 10.30pm.

Where is the event located? We’re hosting the event at School Field, The Long Walk, Windsor. Directions and parking details can be found below.

Is the event family-friendly? Yes, the event is open to all ages. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.  There is no charge for children under 5 and carers for those living with disabilities (as long as they are accompanying the person with disabilities).

Who is organising the event? Long Walk Live is an event that is produced by the Windsor Festival Society and supported by The Prince Philip Trust Fund.   It is a ticketed event for Summer 2026 and all proceeds will go back to supporting both of these local charities, which in turn, support local residents and help provide a vibrant, community-centred arts scene.  The event is organised by the same team who brought you the local celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee and His Majesty The King’s Coronation.

Tickets

How do I purchase tickets? Tickets will be on sale from 10am Monday 15th December, and are available online via Visit Windsor by clicking here. We will release a limited number of golden and early-bird tickets at a reduced rate ahead of the event.  When they are gone, they are gone.  We advise all who wish to attend to buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.  Providing the event is not sold out, a limited number of tickets may be sold at the gate at full price on the day.

Are tickets refundable? All ticket sales are final unless the event is cancelled.  See our Terms and Conditions for further information.

Do children need tickets? Children under 5 are admitted at no extra cost if they are with a full paying adult, but do require their own ticket. Children aged between 5-16 years old require their own ticket. All children must be supervised by a responsible adult over the age of 21 at all times. The event site contains busy areas, loud music, and potential trip hazards, so guardians must ensure the safety and wellbeing of accompanying children.

How will my tickets arrive? All tickets will be issued via email and you will need to show these tickets with barcode on entry to the event.  No paper tickets will be issued.

Please note: A booking fee of £1.25 per ticket applies to all orders.
